Palm Timesheets was designed and developed for one purpose only. That purpose is to automate your payroll processing . It satifies the goals of being simple and intuitive to use, error resistant, and efficient. And it is field tested.
Each foreman has a Palm pilot which shows his name. When the foreman does a hotsync, the foreman's timesheet data for all workers is uploaded and checked, and the latest Company timesheet is downloaded to the foreman's Palm pilot. This gives the foreman an immediate company wide view of  all job and other foreman activity. And it give the Office an immediate view of  all job and foreman activity.

There are many built in efficiencies. For example, only the active workers and jobs are downloaded. Only new job and worker names entered by the Foreman are uploaded. Only data up to and including the current day are uploaded or downloaded. This reduces the amount of time taken for a HotSync, which is already quite short - a few minutes.
 
 

This package contains five programs. These programs operate together to give you a complete timesheets solution.

The Palm Pilot Program
This program runs in timesheets interface in the Palm Pilot. It is compatible with the Palm V and all later models of the Palm pilot.
 The Conduit Program
This by-directional conduit program is called by the Palm desktop software when the HotSync button is actuated. This program uploads the data from the Palm pilot and downloads the new data to the Palm pilot.
 The Processing Program
This program receives the uploaded data from the Conduit program, checks the data, and merges the data into the Palm Timesheets database. It prepares the new data and sends this to the Conduit program.
 The Windows Program
This program is a full featured Windows program which provides the Office interface to Palm Timesheets.
 The Customizing Program
This program provides the user options for customizing the Timesheet Week begin day and hour, titles, military or normal time format, and the amount of historical data to keep.
